The Sidra de Nava Festival is held in Nava, the cider capital of
Asturias during the second weekend of July and the previous week
Feast of San Juan de Sahagún (The Saint John of Sahagún Feast)
The San Juan de Sahagún feast is held in Salamanca, the Saint and son
of this village that is located at the south-east of the Leon province.
The ornamental combs or "La Peineta"
The ornamental comb is the main complement of the mantilla. The best ones are made of tortoise shell, though there are other
varieties of celluloid that perfectly imitate the shell’s colour.
Toledo’s damascene
Damascene is a craftwork based on the carrying out of figures and
drawings by means of the introduction, cofferdam or embedding of fine
golden or silver threads on steel or iron, regularly blue.
The Ascención de Santiago de Compostela Feast
Spread all over Galicia, diverse feasts /fairs are being held every
year; in fact these celebrations mean the calendar’s evolution from
tradition.
Seville Fair on April
Feast full of grace and color known worldwide. Its origin comes from a
"popular cattle fair" though still being held it has led its scenario
to a folkloric show of an extraordinary joy.
