Recognised as the greatest Spanish male dancer of his generation and an even greater choreographer, Antonio Gades died of cancer in 2004

22th to 24th April, around the Feast Day of Saint George (Catalan:
Sant Jordi ; Spanish: San Jorge).

The Falles Festival of San José in Valencia (Las Fallas)
The Falles of San José: during four days and four nights they set, in numerous streets and squares, immense monuments made of cardboard, plastic, and loud jabs, uttered with as much art as naturalness. The last day, San José’s day, March 19th, they use to burn the monuments.
La fiesta de la Tomatina or Tomato fight
This is one of the most celebrated days in the Valencian calendar. It is the biggest vegetable fight in the world and is the one where around 30 thousand people and 200 tons of tomato participate.
